Cyndi Watson '87 practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, and corporate and business law. Her estate planning practice involves all aspects of planning for the preservation and transfer of assets, and preparing wills, trusts and related documents; and assisting clients through the probate process. She practices on behalf of local and national business entities, representing a variety of companies in various industries, such as hospitality, automotive, manufacturing and professional services. Ms. Watson serves as general counsel for many of these companies. She handles a wide range of corporate and business issues such as entity structure and formation; equity and asset acquisition and disposition; contract drafting and negotiation involving various parties and subject matter such as suppliers, customers, contractors, real estate, finance and intellectual property. She assists clients as well with employer issues and risk management; as well as succession planning and exit strategy. She also practices in the area of intellectual property with a focus on trademark law. Ms. Watson is involved with the Dallas A&M Club, the Texas Aggie Bar Association, as a Director, the Dallas Safari Club, and Texas Women’s Shooting Sports. Ms. Watson received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University. She received her law degree from Southern Methodist University.
