Alex Taylor, Board Member

Alex, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2012, is an associate at Hope & Causey, P.C. where he represents both plaintiffs and defendants at every level of the justice system. He was born in College Station and grew up primarily in Bastrop, Texas. After graduating Bastrop High School, Alex went to Texas A&M University, where he earned a B.B.A. in Management. While at A&M, Alex worked as a Resident Advisor in Moore and Hart Halls and served as a Team Leader in the annual Big Event organization. He studied law at South Texas College of Law on scholarship, where he made the Dean’s List, worked as a Research Assistant and a Certified Mediator, and co-founded Polis, an organization dedicated to exploring the philosophical underpinnings of the law.

Alex’s practice includes personal injury law, homeowner’s insurance cases, and appellate work. He has tried dozens of cases from San Antonio to Beaumont, Dallas to Galveston, and everywhere in between. He has worked on various Texas A&M Bar Association projects over the years, including the conference committee, the tailgate committee, and the social media team. He is proud to be serving his first term on the Texas A&M Bar Association’s Board of Directors and looks forward to serving the organization.

Alex and his wife live in Houston, with their three children. When not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and playing banjo.
