2025 Distinguished Aggie Lawyer and Rising Aggie Lawyer Nominations

We are excited to announce that Texas Aggie Bar Association will honor two exceptional Aggie Lawyers during the upcoming 26th Annual Conference. Nominations are officially open and the deadline to enter your submission(s) has been extended! The new deadline is December 16th.
The Distinguished Aggie Lawyer Award honors an Aggie Lawyer who has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to Texas A&M, the University's Core values, and putting those values into his or her practice of the legal profession. The award, formerly know as the Aggie Lawyer of the Year Award, considers a candidate's lifetime achievements.
The Rising Aggie Lawyer Award recognizes the accomplishments of younger attorneys, those who are either 40 years of age or younger or are within his or her first 12 years of practice. The Rising Aggie Lawyer of the Year allows TABA to recognize and award the brightest and upcoming stars in the legal practice.

Lawyer Award
For almost two decades, TABA has honored Aggie lawyers who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to Texas A&M, the University’s Core Values, and putting those values into his or her practice of the legal profession.
The award, formerly known as the Aggie Lawyer of the Year Award, considers a candidate's lifetime achievements.


Rising Aggie Lawyer Award
The Rising Aggie Lawyer Award recognizes the accomplishments of younger attorneys, those who are either 40 years of age or younger or are within his or her first 12 years of practice.
Rising Aggie Lawyer allows TABA to recognize and award TABA’s brightest and upcoming stars in the legal practice.


Arno Krebs '64 Leadership Award
Awarded to a board member that demonstrates the Texas A&M core value of leadership to TABA. This award recognizes a non-officer board member that goes above and beyond.


James “Jimmy” Bond '58 Selfless Service Award
Awarded to a non-board member that demonstrates the Texas A&M core value of selfless service to TABA. This award recognizes a non-board member that serves TABA through committee roles, special events, etc.
