TABA Big Event
Beginning in Fall 2023, the Texas Aggie Bar Association joined in this project through the Inaugural TABA Big Event. Following in The Big Event’s footsteps, TABA is committed to personifying the ethos of The Big Event: a simple, heartfelt ‘Thank You.’ We look forward to showing our communities how Aggie lawyers live out the Aggie core value of selfless service.
TABA is excited to host our Annual Big Event in Fort Worth this year! Join us on Saturday, November 7th as we put the core value of selfless service into action! We will join with the Texas A&M School of law to serve at a few different locations throughout Fort Worth. There are a limited number of spots and free t-shirts, so register today! Children are invited to participate and will be placed at a serve site that is appropriate for families.
Specific location assignments will be given the morning of November 7th at check-in. (With one exception - Habitat for Humanity has a limited number of spaces and pre-registration is required. Please indicate on your registration form is this is a serve location you would like to be considered for when making placements.)
Saturday morning, we will meet together at the Law School in downtown Fort Worth for a light breakfast, and then will disperse to our assigned serve locations. In the afternoon, we will join with the Fort Worth A&M Club for a watch party at the Rusty Nickel IceHouse. Specific watch party details will be included in your registration reminder email.
We look forward to this exciting event and hope you can join us!
The Big Event fosters unity between the campus and community as students (and now TABA members!) unite for a day of service, demonstrating their appreciation for the continued support from our neighboring communities.
In the Fall of 2023, TABA members joined together, along with students of St. Mary's University School of Law, to clean up and organize the oldest VFW Hall in Texas. After a morning of serving, everyone joined the Bexar County A&M Club to watch the Aggies BTHO of Miami.
